TJ & I love to take little Talula on 'enrichment' adventures!
Well, we have been plotting to take her to this cool place about 40 minutes from us - Bubble Planet! Are you kidding an entire planet of bubbley fun! YES! So, when Krystin asked us to watch Baby Love, so you know she could do adult stuff (double date with friends), we were like -
YES! Bubble Planet Date with Baby Love!
We picked up a tired and very hot, but very excited little Talula Love up from preschool at 5pm, which happened to the hottest day of the year so far in Arizona (118 deg F, I believe).
Really, how did it feel yesterday?
This is pretty accurate!
However, we are strong and we are brave!
Let's do it!
We arrived at the mall (where bubble planet exists), parked, and excitedly followed the signs for the bubbles!!
She was running so fast we could barely catch up with her!
And.... We arrived and they were closing everything up!!! Yes, we checked they were open that night right before we left! Unfortunately, the hottest day of the year so far was too hot for Bubble Planet! Their air conditioning went out! You could feel the heat pouring out into the mall! They said it would be closed for the day!
It was definitely a bummer, but TJ & I have a strict rule we live by! The journey IS the destination! It is all to be embraced and fun is still to be had! So, we told a sad little Talula - No Worries! Let us find other really cool things to do here! WOOHOO!
She was like - this does look fun!
She is obsessed with horses and this was too cool!

She loved it so much and she had the carousel to herself!
She saw these 'drive' strollers when we entered the mall and was super excited to get to drive one around!
She saw this car and was like - "Yep, I need to drive that!"
It is actually a little game and she could push the gas pedal and drive!
She couldn't get enough of it!
She also tried out the fire truck! So cool!
And the boat!
But this car was the winner! She insisted I sit next to her.... :O
Of course, we had to end our fun at the mall with ice cream!
She was so cute and politely asked for samples of flavors.
She chose cookies and cream.
Yah, she is that cute!
It was funny on the way to Bubble Planet, she kept telling us we would see an elephant. We were like, no it isn't the zoo! Well, we were wrong! The Rainforest Cafe is right inside of the mall where we entered! Sure enough there was an elephant! LOL!
She liked the birds too!

We got back to our house around 8pm, so we took the pups and the little lady in the yard - even after sunset though - it was still pretty hot! Logan was super sweet and hung out with our pups while we were off on our Talula adventure, so he was there too! Thanks, Lo!
After a short yard-zard, as we call it, we cuddled and waited for the Momma to come!
All-in-all - it was a fun night!
So, we have a 'rain check' for the Bubble Planet or should I say a 'sun check'?
